For both Isaac's and Audrey's first birthday parties, I created picture boards. I made 10 boards each, with different themes (bath, first Christmas, favorite toys, etc) and had about 10-15 photos per board. The idea was to display how they'd grown in those different areas throughout the first year. Most people really loved them, as of course did I.
The question now is, what to do with them? Isaac's boards are sitting in his closet, and Audrey's are in the dining room. Family has suggested holding onto them and displaying them at their high school graduation parties, but I really don't know how to keep them that long. I've considering making them into very large books using binder rings, but the question remains on how to preserve them? I can't easily throw page protectors over them, nor do I have photo safe storage boxes large enough for poster board.
Should I just take pictures of the pictures? Take them apart and create mini scrapbooks, while maintaining the themes? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
